Landsmótið hefur verið haldið í 60 ár og er þetta það 19. í röðinni.  Landsmót hafa verið haldin áður fimm sinnum á keppnissvæðinu á Vindheimamelum.
Frá upphafi eða frá því að Landsmót var fyrst haldið á Þingvöllum, hefur mótið verið einn stærsti íþróttaviðburður landsins. Grapewire hefur hannað og byggt sérsniðið að þörfum Landssambands hestamanna nýtt sveigjanlegt miðasölukerfi sem framvegis er notað til sölu miða, varnings, hjólhýsastæða og stúkusæta.

The festival itself is now in its 11th year and takes place over  a 5 day period in October. Around 200 bands and artists both local and international play at the festival this year.

While we were hoping to see Apple push the quality of the audio files even further the albums released so far are in a 256kbps AAC format. The interesting part is that Apple is using emerging CSS tricks such as animation to enhance the experience. Somehow the whole thing seems to be very DVD menu like and one wonders if it is slated for the TV/computer merger that seems imminent.

The DVD, Live in Reykjavik features 20 songs recorded by Mezzoforte in a special 10 piece version of the band during 3 concerts in Reykjavik, Iceland in march of 2007. Bonus material consists of footage from rehersals as well as a slideshow of photos spanning the band’s career.

Live In Reykjavik is released in 4 versions: As a 2CD set, as a DVD, as a Deluxe Edition with special liner notes and bonus tracks and last but not least, as 2 Vinyl-LPs!

Only the regular DVD is available here.

Other versions are available in shops (first in Europe and later around the world) or through www.zyx.de.

Bonus material includes footage from rehersals, old videos and photos covering the band's 30 year history.
